Akinwale believes that humanity will experience significant technological advancement in the next decade, particularly in the realms of immersive technology. And that designers, architects, or creatives would have a tremendous amount of responsibility in constructing these immersive digital worlds so as to provide sensual experiences. 

In this article, Akinwale provides visualisations of various Nigerian landmarks rendered in the metaverse, including Zuma rock, Tafawa Balewa Square, Civic centre Lagos, National theatre, Catholic Church of Christ, and the Lekki Ikoyi link bridge.
