INVITATION TO ARCHIBUILT 2017 EXPOSITION

Archibuilt Development Services Limited invites you to the 28th Edition of the exposition of Building Materials, Urban Development and Construction Technology, ARCHIBUILT 2017.

ARCHIBUILT is an annual exhibition-forum organized to continually bring to the fore trends, technologies, systems, and policy issues that impact the building industry's intervention and responses to everyday living. This intervention, intended to generate the framework for sustainable solutions, is although championed by architects, broad in its appeal and involvement. Originally midwifed and driven by the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), ARCHIBUILT was registered as corporate venture under ARCHIBUILT Development Services Limited (ADSL) and has been trading as such since 2012.

ARCHIBUILT 2017, Solutions for Everyday Living, holds from August 21st to 24th International Conference Center, Central Area, Area 11, 900 Herbert Macaulay Way, Abuja. The event will attract a raft of exhibitors, speakers, and participants both from within core and support industries, within and without the Country.

Close to a hundred exhibitors promoting products, systems, machinery, equipment, technology, and new concepts associated with development of the built environment are involved in the expo. This same diversity is reflected in the visitors and participants which will include students, industry and non-industry professionals, with an attendance head-count which sometimes peaks at just under 2,500 persons.

Also in attendance will be relevant statutory and regulatory bodies, which facilitates a significant level of exchange between professionals, practitioners, students, manufacturers, and the government and regulatory entities on a wide range of issues as pertain the industry.

The ARCHIBUILT 2017 event will also create bespoke forums for the interactive discussion on topical issues such as housing, infrastructure, and sustainable development. Becoming somewhat of a centerpiece to the entire event these sessions have discussants and moderators from both public and private sectors, with a high level of professional and student participation.

ARCHIBUILT 2017 aims to build on successes recorded in previous events particularly over the past few years, and deliver a truly relevant product to all participates as it looks into Solutions for Everyday Living. The theme of this year’s event is: “Promoting the development of building materials & services for the Nigerian market” With the following as sub-themes:

·        Housing finance in Nigeria

·        Development of construction technology in Nigeria

·    Green architecture: requirements to achieve green ratings for materials and buildings

ARCHIBUILT 2017 will feature workshops and certification courses which aims to enhance the professional in practical knowledge and relevant applications in sectors of the industry. This is a precursor to the quarterly training workshops that will be taking place during the year. These training & certification will be conducted in the 3 days and highly subsidized:
